On Thursday afternoon, a youth attacked another youth with a knife at the Eastern Chowk of Amila Nagar Panchayat of Ghosi Kotwali area of Mau district. The young attacker who carried out the incident was caught by the local people and handed over to the police. The accused has stated that the reason behind the incident was that the victim had slapped him in the past. On the other hand, after the incident, the police is busy investigating the matter.

According to the information, Priyanshu alias Lala (25), son of Prabhunath, resident of Pandeypura of Amila Nagar Panchayat area of Ghosi Kotwali area, had come to Amila bypass on Thursday afternoon to collect the outstanding money from a shopkeeper. From where he reached the road to go back to his home. Meanwhile, a youth resident of Sonadih village of Ghosi Kotwali area attacked Priyanshu with a knife.
The young man started writhing as soon as he was stabbed. Hearing the screams, people reached the spot and caught the accused and handed him over to the police. Also admitted the injured to the hospital. During the police interrogation, the accused told that he was slapped by Priyanshu. He was angry about this thing. As soon as he got the chance, he attacked Priyanshu to teach him a lesson.
Regarding the incident, Ghosi Kotwal Rajkumar Singh says that the matter is under cognizance. A complaint has been received from the victim’s side, the police is busy investigating the matter.
